The S&Gs will always be a work in progress. The practice of career development is a discipline that is constantly evolving in response to changes in the economy, the labour market and shifting work attitudes and values. It also changes as insights emerge in theory and research. The Canadian Council for Career Development and Canadian Career Development Foundation are committed to ensuring that the S&Gs remain vital and reflect our ever-evolving practice. Ultimately, stewardship of the S&Gs belongs to the entire career development community.
